Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Do
- Assist in delivering the corporate food team's vision, supporting the team's senior corporate chef and acting senior dietitian.
- Develop compliant, scope based menus for a range of sectors including education, remote, aged care, and childcare.
- Conduct detailed recipe testing and development and complete recipe and menu costing.
- Support the culinary component of new site mobilisations.
- Assist with the planning and operational delivery of significant client events and functions.
- Inspire culinary teams across the country with engaging, hands-on culinary training.
About You
- Hold formal trade qualifications as a certified chef with a deep commitment to food safety and HACCP regulations.
- Bring culinary leadership experience from head chef and/or chef manager positions in large-scale catering.
- Adapt well to workplace technology, including Google programs and specialised software including Souped Up.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to successfully engage and inspire kitchen teams.
- Operate with autonomy on independent tasks and work collaboratively with a small team.
- Bring a strong, detailed work ethic, positive attitude, and flexibility regarding interstate travel that requires a couple of nights away from home each trip.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is highly advantageous for this position.
