About the Opportunity
Episeio Business Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) chemicals with over 50 years of expertise, operating under an exclusive licence from a leading German manufacturer. Our client is establishing and scaling their Australian operations and requires a seasoned sales leader to own a key region and deliver results from day one.
This is a senior, high-ownership role suited to someone who has built and run regional sales operations in the industrial or NDT space and is ready to take on a leadership position with real earning and equity potential.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will independently lead all commercial activity within the assigned Australian region — from strategy and distributor management to key account ownership and market development. This person will be the face of our client's brand in their region and will play a pivotal role in establishing the company's Australian footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with overall Australian growth targets
- Identify, appoint, and actively manage distributors and resellers across the region
- Develop and grow a portfolio of direct key accounts across target industries
- Secure OEM approvals and technical qualifications from major contractors and end users
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and procurement leaders
- Lead product demonstrations, technical presentations, and on-site evaluations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics and report to leadership
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members as the regional team grows

Who We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of proven sales experience in NDT, industrial chemicals, manufacturing or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets in a regional or territory sales role
- Strong existing network of decision-makers across target sectors in the assigned Australian region
- Hands-on experience appointing and managing distributors and channel partners
- Ability to handle technical discussions, product evaluations, and specification approvals independently
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry or a related field is preferred
- Valid Australian driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building from the ground up with limited hand-holding
- Australian working rights required (Citizens, Permanent Residents, or valid work visa holders welcome)
What Is On Offer
- Base salary: AUD $110,000 – $140,000 depending on region, experience, and network strength
- Performance-linked sales commission — strong performers can expect total comp of AUD $170,000 – $200,000+
