An exciting position available within a security equipment supplier. Located in Mordialloc the position to be filled offers a variety of duties suited for a hands-on all-rounder. The position is biased towards warehouse however will still include interactions with customers.
The position is immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Interaction with customers such as shop floor assistance
- Assisting in providing delivery tracking details and freight costings
- Picking and packing
- Booking outgoing deliveries
- General warehousing
- Product building and testing (In-House training provided)
Skills and Experience
- Ability to multi-task in a busy setting
- Ability or Aptitude in use of general hand tools and power tools
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principals
- Basic computer skills
To be considered
- Previous warehouse experience is highly regarded
- Well presented with good communication skills
- A technical aptitude as we deal with mechanical and electronic equipment
- Hands on position in warehouse requires lifting heavy items, physical fitness is important
- Punctuality with own car and driver’s license
- Strong work ethic
Candidate cannot have a criminal record due to security industry
Schedule and Pay Rate
Monday to Friday 8am til 4pm at $68,250 PA + SUPER
