ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on the Tonkin Highway Extension.
You will be reporting to the Civil Supervisor, and you will be responsible for operating an excavator within the piling operations, as well as off siding where required.
Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Safely operate excavators for highway earthworks and construction.
- Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and road formation works.
- Load and move soil, rock, and construction materials.
- Trim batters, drains, embankments, and road surfaces to required levels.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance.
- Work safely around traffic, workers, underground services, and other plant.
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- RIIMPO320F (Conduct civil construction excavator operations)
- CPCCLDG3001 (Licence to perform dogging) – preferred
- Ability to obtain a national police clearance
- White Card
- MUST hold relevant Australian working rights.
