The business focuses on supplier sourcing, procurement, inventory coordination, logistics, commercial purchasing and the management of supplier and customer relationships.
The Role
The Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing the company's sourcing, procurement and supply chain activities. The role will focus on developing reliable supplier relationships, coordinating purchasing activities, monitoring costs and supporting the efficient movement and delivery of goods.
The successful candidate will work across the sourcing and procurement lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and researching suppliers through to obtaining quotations, evaluating commercial terms, coordinating orders, monitoring logistics and supporting delivery. The position will also contribute to improving procurement processes, supplier records, cost tracking, reporting and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain supplier relationships across furniture, commercial, industrial and related product categories.
· Identify, assess and communicate with manufacturers, producers, distributors and trading partners based on price, quality, capability and delivery requirements.
· Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and support RFQ and procurement processes, including supplier comparison and commercial recommendations.
· Coordinate purchasing, procurement, logistics and delivery requirements for domestic projects and customer orders.
· Review and reconcile supplier invoices, purchase orders, freight charges and other procurement-related expenses.
· Prepare and monitor procurement budgets, cost forecasts and total landed-cost calculations, including freight, insurance, duties, taxes and handling charges where applicable.
· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking, customer receipts, account reconciliations and follow-up of outstanding balances.
· Maintain accurate supplier, transaction, purchasing and financial records.
· Provide management with reporting on procurement costs, supplier performance, margins, inventory-related matters and commercial outcomes.
· Assist with improving procurement procedures, supplier databases, documentation, reporting and project tracking.
· Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight providers and other commercial partners to support timely procurement and delivery.
Experience & Application Requirements
Applicants should have relevant practical experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, purchasing, logistics or a closely related commercial function. Applicants seeking to transition from an accounting or finance position into supply chain should be able to demonstrate relevant hands-on supply chain, procurement or purchasing experience of at least several months.
Relevant experience may include supplier communication, purchasing, quotation analysis, procurement coordination, freight and logistics coordination, inventory or order management, supplier invoice reconciliation, cost analysis or other directly related supply chain activities.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
