Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Director Planning & Regulatory Services.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Directorate by providing confidential executive support, coordinating governance processes and building positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

Commencing salary at $3,059.14 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,670.97 gross per fortnight + superannuation.

Your new role:
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering professional executive and administrative support that enables the Director and Directorate to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex calendar, correspondence and workflow.
- Preparing reports, presentations, briefing papers and other high-quality documentation.
- Coordinating Council reports, business papers and governance deadlines.
- Organising meetings, workshops and events, including agendas and minutes.
- Supporting financial and administrative processes such as travel arrangements and reconciliations.
- Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assisting with projects and mentoring business support staff as required.
What you will need to succeed:

Relevant qualifications in business administration

Experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative support role.

Exceptional organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence working across a range of business systems.

A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
