The Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) is designed and delivered with the consumer, carers, family, and local communities at the centre of everything we do. MHAODS currently has over 500 staff, with multiple models of care delivered by multidisciplinary clinical teams spanning across the Cairns and Rural region.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will....
Conduct and evaluate audits to identify clinical risks and quality issues and assist in monitoring preventive strategies and outcomes in partnership with the MHAODS senior leadership.
Provide high level reports on quality, and innovation activities against the CHHHS strategic and operational plans, and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards to enable the fulfillment of legislative, strategic and operational requirements.
Leading the Clinical Governance team, foster a team environment to ensure achievement of objectives including providing constructive and effective feedback which achieves solutions.
