Project Officer
Full time continuing position in the Faculty of Science
Camperdown Campus on Gadigal Country
Base salary HEO6 $107,312 - $115,686 + 17% Superannuation

About the opportunity
The Project Officer provides project management and operational support across a range of initiatives within the Faculty of Science . You will help coordinate multiple workstreams, support delivery of project outcomes and contribute to improving operational efficiency. This role plays an important part in ensuring projects are well organised, effectively communicated and delivered on time.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
work closely with stakeholders across the Faculty to support project delivery and coordination
maintain project plans, timelines and tracking of milestones across workstreams
gather, analyse and report on project data to support planning and decision making
coordinate meetings, events and project logistics including scheduling and documentation
support stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure alignment on project objectives
assist with budget tracking, process improvements and compliance with university policies

About you
experience preparing reports, analysing data and maintaining project documentation
proficiency in Microsoft Office and project or collaboration tools such as SharePoint
experience working in a complex organisation, with higher education experience
experience supporting financial processes such as budget monitoring or invoice management.
