METFOLD Sheetmetal is a rapidly growing sheet metal roofing supplier with its newest store in Moama, NSW. We specialise in crafting custom-made Colorbond® roof sheets, flashings, rainwater goods and supplying all your roofing accessories for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking HR Crane Truck Driver / Factory Hand to join our team at a busy metal roofing supply company.
This is a hands-on, varied role combining truck deliveries with factory and warehouse duties. We’re looking for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable and happy to get involved wherever needed.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Driving a HR crane truck to complete customer and site deliveries
- Loading and unloading roofing materials and associated products
- Securing loads correctly and safely
- Assisting with picking and preparing customer orders
- General factory and warehouse duties
- Handling metal roofing sheets, flashings and related products
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Completing basic vehicle checks and looking after company equipment
- Providing friendly and professional service to customers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A current HR Driver Licence
- A good driving record
- Experience driving HR trucks
- Forklift licence preferred
- Experience in roofing, steel, building supplies or manufacturing advantageous, but not essential
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling
- A strong focus on workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and a good work ethic
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A positive, can-do attitude
