About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable person to join our workshop team in Yagoona.
This role involves diagnosing and repairing vacuum cleaners, robotic vacuums, steam cleaning appliances, kitchen mixers, and computers and laptops, along with assisting customers with enquiries, bookings, drop-offs, and collections.
No prior repair experience is required as full training will be provided, however applicants with an interest in electronics, mechanical repairs, or appliances will be highly regarded.
Because this role involves speaking with customers in person and over the phone, clear and fluent English communication is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing vacuum cleaners, robotic vacuums, and steam mops
- Testing appliances and identifying faults
- Replacing parts and completing repairs once trained
- Communicating with customers regarding repairs, enquiries, and collections
- Recording repair notes and service details
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Working as part of a small, supportive team
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- A practical, hands-on attitude
- Interest in learning appliance and electronics repair
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and within a small team
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience with appliance repairs
- Electronics or mechanical repair experience
- Experience using tools or working with equipment

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
