Applications are open to individuals who will have completed their tertiary studies in Law by no later than the end of February 2027 and are available for start dates in March 2027 with either our Melbourne or Sydney based teams.
About the team
S+G are seeking a number of highly motivated Graduate or first year Lawyers to become permanent members of its team during 2027. These opportunities have been created by organic growth within the practice group driven by the number of existing class actions and those in the pipeline.
The Class Actions team specialises in both commercial and common law representative proceedings. You will work within either the Melbourne or Sydney based teams that have built up expertise and a strong track record in this area of practice. As a Graduate or early-career Lawyer you can expect to be an active team member of one or two actions as well as to assist in the investigation of potential claims. There are also opportunities to specialise as a Graduate or early-career Lawyer in the Class Actions Litigation Technology Team.

We are also interested in the following- Previous experience in class actions or complex/large-scale litigation, particularly in client engagement, case management or discovery
- Existing skills or interest in developing a litigation technology or data analysis specialisation
