We’re now looking for a Part Time Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
Located in Wonthaggi, White Road Kindergarten provides a high-quality program that reflects the values of the local community to cement itself as a beacon of early childhood education and care. This position is ideal for an experienced Teacher who enjoys building strong relationships and bringing creativity, collaboration and connection to the team.
Role Details:
Early Childhood Teacher
Session Times: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 9:00am to 2:00pm
15 contact hours + 7.5 non-contact hours = 22.5 hours per week
Remaining non-contact time to be worked on another day, which will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring
- Current qualification in early childhood teaching and current registration with VIT
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
