The Opportunity
The Islamic College of Brisbane is seeking an experienced and proactive Administration Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a highly organised professional who is passionate about administration excellence, customer service, and people leadership. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Administration Coordinator will lead the College Administration Team while providing high-level HR administration support across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, staff wellbeing initiatives, and workforce administration.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of efficient, professional and customer-focused administrative services across the College while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Administration Team to deliver efficient and professional administrative services across the College
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and HR administration processes for teaching and non-teaching staff
- Maintain employee records, compliance documentation and HR systems
- Oversee front office operations and ensure exceptional customer service for students, parents, staff and visitors
- Support staff induction, wellbeing initiatives and workforce administration activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems, processes and operational practices
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administration, office management or administration coordination role
- Proven experience leading, supervising or mentoring administration staff
- Experience in recruitment administration, onboarding and HR support functions
- Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
Desirable
- Experience working within a school or educational environment
- Experience using TASS or similar education management systems
- Qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or a related discipline

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
