The Opportunity:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting all aspects of GMP warehousing operations to ensure the safe, compliant, and accurate receipt, storage, picking, assembly, and shipment of materials and finished products. This role operates in accordance with Seqirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, and safety standards. The Warehouse Operator maintains inventory accuracy, supports efficient warehouse processes, and contributes to the timely supply of materials while ensuring regulatory compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
The Role:
- Perform GMP/GDP warehousing activities including the receipt, storage, replenishment, assembly, and dispatch of materials and finished products in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment, warehouse tools, and machinery safely while adhering to environmental, health, safety, and incident response procedures.
- Handle and store dangerous goods and temperature-controlled materials in compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.
- Use SAP, ERP systems, and RF scanning technology to accurately process inventory transactions, receipts, movements, and shipments.
- Support production and operational requirements through timely picking, assembly, delivery, and distribution of materials across Seqirus sites.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation activities, reporting, and inventory management processes.
- Conduct GMP and Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) workplace inspections, maintain housekeeping standards, and ensure equipment remains operational and fit for use.
To be successful:
- Current Forklift Licence, valid Driver’s Licence, and demonstrated experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment within a warehouse environment.
- Experience in warehousing operations, including receiving, dispatch, order picking, inventory management, and ERP/SAP system transactions.
- Sound knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, GMP/GDP principles, and hazardous/dangerous goods handling and storage practices.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with ERP systems, RF scanners, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support warehouse inductions, site tours, and on-the-job training activities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and comfortably perform duties in cold storage environments and outdoor conditions.
