We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Manager to provide clinical leadership across our Queensland region. This influential role partners closely with Regional Managers and clinic leaders to strengthen clinical standards, support veterinary teams, promote professional development and ensure robust clinical governance across the network.

About the role
As Veterinary Manager, you'll serve as the clinical voice within the regional leadership team, providing guidance and support that enables clinics to achieve both clinical and commercial success.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic clinical leadership to maintain and continuously improve standards of veterinary care

Partnering with Regional Managers and clinic leaders to support operational and clinical excellence

Promoting best practice clinical governance and ensuring compliance with veterinary legislation, professional standards and regulatory requirements

Coaching, mentoring and developing veterinarians and clinical teams to foster capability and career growth

Building strong relationships across the clinic network, creating a collaborative and connected veterinary community

Supporting the implementation of Medical Advisory Board initiatives, protocols and clinical policies

Promoting the benefits of the VetPartners network, including professional development opportunities through our Veterinary Training Centre

Contributing to broader Veterinary Services initiatives and strategic projects across the business

Supporting veterinarian attraction and recruitment by helping identify candidates who are both clinically and culturally aligned
About you
You are an experienced veterinary professional who combines strong clinical expertise with a collaborative leadership style. You build credibility through your knowledge, communicate with confidence and enjoy supporting others to succeed.
You will bring:

A Bachelor of Veterinary Science with current Veterinary Board registration.

Current licences for Ionising Radiation and Microchipping.

A minimum of three years' experience in a veterinary leadership role.

Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop veterinary professionals.

Strong understanding of clinical governance, professional standards and quality improvement.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.

Commercial awareness, including confidence interpreting and discussing financial performance and P&L statements.

Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Queensland.
