Registered Pharmacist, Medicinal Cannabis
Florae Dispensary seeks a registered pharmacist currently employed in pharmacy for the position of Pharmacist. Non pharmacist applicants will not be considered.
Florae Dispensary is a specialty medicinal cannabis pharmacy.
Medicinal Cannabis is a growing component within the total prescription medicine share. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in a specialty dispensary setting in a permanent casual role.
The mandatory hours to be covered by the role include:
Tuesday - 10 til 6
Wednesday - 10 til 6
Thursday - 10 til 6
Friday - 10 til 6
Potential in medium term for permanent Saturday 10 til 2 addition, at time and a quarter if mutually suitable.
We have a friendly and supporting team, and you will work alongside experienced Medicinal Cannabis Pharmacists at all times. Our service based model will draw on your professional capability to provide true care for patients as your primary responsibility. You will frequently discuss medicines with patients and spend time providing care in this role, and we encourage all our patients to find the minimum necessary usage for their clinical needs.
You will also be required to have a high level of written communication capability to address patient and prescription matters with doctors.
