We're a dumpling restaurant located in Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Southport, serving freshly made, handcrafted dumplings and authentic Chinese dishes. We're looking for a reliable dumpling maker to join our kitchen team and help us make the fresh, quality dumplings our customers love.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and hand-make fresh dumplings (folding, wrapping, filling)
- Work at your own steady pace to reach a set daily dumpling target
- Follow our recipes to keep quality and taste consistent
- Prep fillings, dough, and ingredients
- Keep your workstation clean and follow food safety standards
What you'll learn:
- How to make our dough from scratch
- How to prepare and season our dumpling fillings
- Proper folding, wrapping, and shaping techniques
- How to keep quality and taste consistent every time
- Kitchen prep, food hygiene, and safety standards
What we're looking for:
- No experience needed — we'll teach you everything from the start
- Fluent spoken Mandarin AND high-level Mandarin reading ability — this is mandatory for the role
- Consistent hands and good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- A willingness to learn
