This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
About the Role
As our Administration Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers while providing day-to-day administrative support to the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Data entry and maintaining accurate customer and job records.
- Preparing and sending basic equipment hire quotes.
- Assisting with processing bookings and customer paperwork.
- Filing, scanning, and general office administration.
- Supporting the sales and operations teams with administrative tasks.
- Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional, and confident speaking with customers.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and prioritise competing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous administration or customer service experience is preferred.
Experience within the hire, construction, transport, or access equipment industry is advantageous but not essential—we're happy to provide training to the right person.
