In this role, you'll:
- Support the development and delivery of Safety Management Plans aligned to legislative, project and business requirements.
- Assist in identifying, investigating and resolving safety risks in partnership with operational teams, helping to implement effective risk controls.
- Contribute to the preparation of safety reports and documentation, including guidelines, manuals and briefings.
- Support reviews of safety systems and documentation to ensure strong governance and effective risk management across the project lifecycle.
- Provide support and advice on WH&S, rail safety and HVNL matters, including participation in audits and investigations.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote best‑practice WH&S outcomes beyond compliance.

About you
You are a Work Health & Safety (WH&S) Practitioner who supports the delivery of effective WH&S management across all project and business division activities. This role reports to a Senior WH&S Practitioner. You assist in maintaining robust risk management processes by supporting the implementation of safety policies, protocols, and procedures, while ensuring administrative records are accurate and kept up to date.
You also provide administrative support for safety initiatives across all project and operational activities. In this role, you work in accordance with the Rail Safety National Law, Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Heavy Vehicle National Law, and other relevant Codes of Practice.
