You'll guide clients through their rehabilitation journey, supporting their return to health, work, and everyday life. This includes delivering tailored occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, and helping them achieve sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
- Partnering with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Conduct Worksite Assessments, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity evaluations and workmatch assessments to determine current capacity, pre-injury duty goals and suitable duties available.
- Liaise with treating parties and stakeholders to create tailored graded return to work plans to assist your client reach their functional and work related goals.
