ABOUT THE ROLE:

Wilson Security is expanding in the (STATE), securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.
This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client
Static Guarding
Corporate security
Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
Providing support to tenants and Facilities
Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
Responding to emergency situations
Contractor management duties
Ad-hoc duties
Essential Requirements
Current NSW Class 1 Security Licence with Armed Guard subclass (F)
Current NSW Firearms Licence – Category H (Security Guarding)
Current Firearms Safety Training Course scoring sheet
Current HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
Valid Australian working rights

Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
Ability to safely carry and operate issued equipment
Desired Experience
Previous armed security experience
Corporate security experience
Defence or law enforcement background (desirable)
Strong report writing skills
Experience using electronic reporting systems
