The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a permanent part-time or full-time position for a dedicated Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team.
You’ll be working alongside an experienced Lead Vet and a team of five caring and capable Vet Nurses. At Sunbury Vet Clinic, we pride ourselves on our supportive culture where everyone looks out for one another, professional growth is encouraged, and a healthy work-life balance is genuinely valued.
Rostering is flexible and can be tailored to suit your lifestyle – whether you’d prefer four longer days with a three-day weekend or five shorter days, the choice is completely yours. The role includes rotating Saturdays. You’ll generally have the support of the Lead Vet, however Saturdays will involve sole charge responsibilities. Only routine consults are required, with the option to refer emergencies externally.
Our Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification

Registered or eligible for registration with the VIC Veterinary Board

Ideally 1+ years’ of experience, although we are flexible for the right person
-
A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure

Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
