About the role
As an Administration Officer within Allied Health Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing efficient administrative and customer service support to clinicians, patients and stakeholders. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate patient referrals and appointments, maintain accurate clinical and administrative records, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Allied Health services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Accurately processes referrals, schedules patient appointments, rescheduling and confirming as necessary and manages pending appointments, expired appointments for patients using ESM, ensuring alignment with the Specialist Outpatients Implementation Standards (SOSIS).
Manage workload appropriately; prioritising tasks, ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
Provide a high level of administrative support within a multidisciplinary team ensuring business needs are met to a high standard.
Exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
Work autonomously with minimal supervision and participate as a positive member within a multidisciplinary team while displaying strong work ethics.
