Waterproofing Technical & Building Compliance Consultants

Wise Corporate Australia is a leading provider of independent waterproofing inspection and compliance services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Waterproofing Technical & Building Compliance Consultants to join our team.
This is a varied role that offers a combination of on-site inspections, report writing, compliance assessments, and office-based work. You'll have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a supportive team while contributing to projects across Sydney, Newcastle, and regional areas.
About the Role
Waterproofing Consultant
- Conducting waterproofing inspections on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Assessing waterproofing installations for compliance with Australian Standards / NCC and project specifications.
Building Compliance Consultant
- Carry out building and construction compliance inspections for Class 2 buildings, to identify building defects, non-compliant works and construction issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing waterproofing installations for compliance with Australian Standards / NCC and project specifications.
- Preparing inspection and compliance reports, including photographs from company templates.
- Working independently on site and collaboratively with the Wise Corporate Australia team.
- Travelling to inspection sites throughout Sydney, Newcastle, and surrounding areas.
These roles offer a mixture of field work, office-based duties from our Sydney or Newcastle offices, and the opportunity to work from home where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with confident general computer and tablet skills.
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is organised, reliable, and has strong attention to detail.
- Holds a current Australian Driver Licence and is comfortable travelling for work.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
The following are highly regarded but not essential:
- Knowledge in waterproofing, construction, building inspections, or a related industry.
- Waterproofing or construction trade qualification or licence. (Beneficial but not essential)
- White Card, and willing to obtain other tickets if required.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the NCC relating to waterproofing.
