About the Role
ABC Textile Fabrication is seeking an experienced High-Frequency (HF) Welder Supervisor to lead our workshop fabrication team in Glendenning NSW. You will oversee daily operations, manage equipment parameters, and ensure all welding outputs meet strict quality and safety standards. This role bridges the gap between workshop operations and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Operations: Monitor daily workflow, schedule shifts, and track project timelines.
- Process Control: Oversee high-frequency welding machinery setup, parameters, and maintenance.
- Quality Assurance: Review project plans, authorize ITPs, and ensure compliance with fabrication standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor operators, assess weld quality, and verify staff certifications.
- Safety First: Enforce strict workshop safety protocols, focusing on electrical and EMF hazards.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior high-frequency/RF welding role.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HF/RF PVC textile or waterproof shade fabrication processes and design plan reading.
- Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Eligibility: Must have full working rights in Australia.
