About the Role
The HR Business Partner is a key partner to the business, translating people priorities into practical HR solutions that support performance, capability and growth. Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner, business leaders and HR Centres of Excellence, this role helps shape workforce strategy, strengthen leadership capability and deliver initiatives that improve both the employee experience and business outcomes.
This role spans the full HR lifecycle, using data, insight and stakeholder partnership to identify opportunities, solve problems and embed consistent people practices. You’ll collaborate across the HR function to lead initiatives and projects, influence decision-making and tailor solutions to meet local business needs while aligning to broader enterprise objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational HR support to the leadership team within allocated client groups, including deployment of Asia Pacific and Country based strategies, workforce plans and executing on initiatives that enable the business to deliver better business outcomes.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the leadership team and managers on retention, attraction and development of talent.
- Work closely with the leadership team on talent, succession and targeted development for top and critical talent.
- Work closely with the leadership teams to drive the Chubb cultural model and Diversity & Inclusion agenda within their teams.
- Support Leadership with employee engagement activities and proactively provide advice and be involved in the implementation of initiatives designed to increase engagement and morale
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team on pipeline talent strategy and needs for allocated client groups.
- Work with leaders to ensure annual performance and compensation review cycle deadlines are met. Coaching and mentoring leaders in strong conversations and talent management.
- Proactively assist managers with employee queries and issues requiring legal and/or policy advice.
- Assist and coach managers in performance and behavioural management issues and structuring employee performance improvement plans
- Liaise with offshore HR Services team and local payroll team to ensure timely and quality documentation provided for employees
- Provide insights on data and trends in client group to inform decision making with key leaders and for quarterly and annual reports to inform future strategies and initiatives
- Assist the Senior HR Business Partner and business leaders to assess and determine people risks and strategies to mitigate these.
- Assist the Senior HR Business Partner and business leaders to assess and determine the training needs of employees and teams in the development and implementation of appropriate training programs and materials
- Work with the business leaders to ensure departments are operating within agreed P&L requirements
