As the Technical Officer – Works you will:
- Develop and maintain works schedules for reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance activities
- Analyse asset condition data and develop GIS-based maps and reports to support works programming and decision making
- Coordinate between field and office teams, Administration Services, and Technical Services on scheduling and maintenance planning
- Manage customer service requests and complaints through Council’s Customer Request Management system
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant practical experience in civil construction, engineering, project management, or GIS
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling, works programming, or asset management within a civil infrastructure or local government environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across field and office teams and resolve scheduling conflicts
- High level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within set timeframes
