About Us
Round Table Supply Co. is a premium retail bake shop and wholesale supplier launching in Adelaide, operating out of a brand new, purpose-built production kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pastry chef who enjoys working with high-quality ingredients and techniques. Working alongside our resident Patissier, you will play a key role in supporting our pastry program and help produce exceptional baked products that will be enjoyed by our retail customers and wholesale clients.
What you will be doing
- Prepare and produce a range of handcrafted pastries, tarts, cakes, and other sweet and savoury baked goods. Follow daily production schedules to ensure products are prepared efficiently and delivered on time.
- Monitor baking processes and adjust oven temperatures, baking times, and ingredients to achieve consistent quality.
- Ensure all products meet established standards for quality, flavour, texture, and presentation.
- Assist with the day to day operation of the bakery and provide guidance to junior team members when required.
- Clean equipment and maintain a spotless workspace after production.
- Collaborate with the Baker to assist with the bread program when needed.
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Previous experience as a Patissier or Pastry Chef within a commercial bakery, hotel, hospitality venue, or high-volume food production environment.
- Relevant trade qualifications in patisserie, pastry cooking, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality pastry products with an emphasis on presentation and consistency.
- Experience with bread baking and dough preparation is highly regarded, but not essential for the role.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for baking.

Role Requirements
- Schedule: This is a hands-on bakery position requiring flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and other rostered shifts to meet production requirements.
- Certification: Relevant trade qualifications in patisserie or equivalent.
- Working Rights: To be eligible to apply for this role, you must be legally permitted to work in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay: $54,373.68 – $85,624.81 per year
