Business Development Manager – Heavy Equipment Sales

The client is specifically looking for candidates with proven experience in Agricultural Equipment, Crane/Lifting Equipment, and Concrete Equipment industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales activities for earthmoving and heavy equipment within assigned territories.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, customer visits, networking, and contractor engagement.
- Increase market share within the civil construction, infrastructure, quarrying, mining, and agricultural sectors.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations, product presentations, and customer consultations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and end-users.
- Monitor project activities, market trends, and competitor movements to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and management reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and support.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in capital equipment, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, mining equipment, automotive, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of civil construction, infrastructure, mining, quarrying, agriculture, or resources sectors.
- Ability to discuss technical specifications, load charts, machine configurations, attachments, and operational applications with customers.
- Strong business development, territory management, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Agricultural Equipment industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Crane/Lifting Equipment industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Concrete Equipment industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Business Development: 1 year (Preferred)
