About the Role
CSR are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our high-performing team at our Garbutt Townsville Gyprock Trade Centre, reporting to the Store Manager. This is a critical leadership role with a strong focus on safety, service delivery, and warehouse efficiency.
As Warehouse Team Leader, you'll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring people and equipment are utilised efficiently to meet service and safety standards. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes for our customers, coaching and leading your team, and actively identifying opportunities for improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Lead by example and champion a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all team members operate safely and in line with Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements.
- Provide clear leadership, direction and accountability across the warehouse, fostering a culture of ownership, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Coach, support and develop team members to achieve safe, productive and customer-focused outcomes.
- Drive operational performance by ensuring efficient processes, service excellence and effective resource management.
- Promote strong communication and employee engagement, creating a positive and high-performing team environment.
- Lead change initiatives with a proactive mindset while maintaining a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.
Work Hours: Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm, totalling a 38-hour week, with any additional hours worked beyond 38 paid at overtime rates (including Saturdays).
What You Bring:
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and building a culture of accountability.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
- You hold a valid Forklift Licence and understand operational flow and constraints.
- You're proactive, hands-on (when needed), and calm under pressure - leading from the front.
- You understand the customer impact of warehouse operations, and you work to exceed expectations.
- Ability to provide clear direction, manage performance and drive team engagement.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on operational excellence and customer service
