Critch Automotive Group is seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop. We are a busy, modern automotive repair and servicing centre committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.
About the Role
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Tasks & Duties
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on light vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
- Carry out brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs.
- Replace and repair vehicle components as required.
- Perform battery testing and replacement.
- Complete tyre-related work where required.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete repair documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
- Assist with fleet maintenance and servicing programs.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Roadworthy certification (desirable but not essential).

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
