THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic that specialises in Road Transport Equipment to join our Newman depot team. Offered on a 2/1 roster ex Perth (or Newman), this position includes night shifts, 7 days, 7 nights, 7 days off and working 12.5 hour shifts.
As a HD Mechanic you will:
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy vehicles including Trucks, buses and trailers
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Communicate with stakeholders to explain repairs and provide estimates for work
Work collaboratively with other mechanics and providers to ensure timely completion of all repairs
ABOUT YOU
To be considered you will hold the following:
HD Automotive Mechanic trade qualifications
Experience working on Macks and Volvos
Australian Drivers Licence – MR or HR class
Australian work rights
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens

$60.00 DS and $66.00 NS exclusive of superannuation and meal allowance (if FIFO)
