In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering commercial leadership, risk management, and strategic project support across Transport for NSW’s infrastructure program, you will play a key role in shaping effective procurement, commercial outcomes, and risk‑based decision‑making across complex transport projects.
This role will see you lead commercial and risk processes across multiple project phases, including facilitating risk workshops, governing qualitative and quantitative risk registers, informing QCRA/QSRA modelling, guiding procurement strategies, and supporting negotiation and dispute resolution activities.
You’ll gain exposure to major infrastructure delivery, build capability across diverse project teams, and contribute to continual improvement in commercial strategy and risk allocation.
You will drive the development of fit‑for‑purpose commercial strategies, effective risk allocations, and improved project efficiencies in a complex, multidisciplinary environment undergoing ongoing structural, cultural, and technological transformation

About you
Your experience across transport infrastructure, commercial management, and risk advisory functions will see you navigate competing project priorities, maintain accurate risk profiles, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and support robust commercial decision‑making.
You’re recognised as a collaborative problem‑solver, skilled at translating complex commercial and risk issues into clear recommendations, and experienced in procurement strategy, contract models (DC, CDC, CO), workshop facilitation, and dispute resolution—enabling you to strengthen project governance and drive value‑for‑money outcomes.
