About the role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Charcoal Chicken Cook / Customer Service Team Member to join our busy charcoal chicken shop. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation and cooking while providing friendly and efficient service to customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare, marinate and season chicken for cooking
* Cook chicken using charcoal/rotisserie equipment
* Prepare salads, chips, sauces and other menu items
* Take customer orders and process payments
* Provide friendly and professional customer service
* Answer customer questions about menu items
* Handle takeaway orders and phone orders
* Pack and serve food accurately
* Maintain food quality and portion standards
* Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
* Keep the kitchen, counter and customer areas clean
* Restock food, packaging and other supplies
* Work efficiently during busy periods
* Work as part of a friendly kitchen and service team
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a charcoal chicken shop, commercial kitchen or customer service is preferred
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Weekend availability preferred
