About the role
The Belconnen Child and Family Hub is a community-based, family-centred program that brings together early childhood education and care with coordinated family support services. At the heart of the Hub is Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre, providing a welcoming and accessible place where children and families can connect with the support they need.
We are seeking a Hub Coordinator to lead this unique integrated model. This dual-function role combines the responsibilities of an Assistant Director at Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre with the coordination of services, partnerships and supports that strengthen outcomes for children and families across Belconnen.
Working across both the early childhood and family support environments, you will support the day-to-day leadership of the Centre while building strong partnerships with internal programs, community organisations and external services. You will help connect families with parenting support, early intervention, developmental and wellbeing services, ensuring the Centre remains a trusted point of connection for the community. This role is a full time - fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2027.

What you will bring
Demonstrated experience in early childhood, family support or integrated service delivery
Essential - Diploma or ECT Qualification for Education and Care
Desirable
Undergraduate degree in:
Psychology (e.g., Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours;
Social Work (e.g., Bachelor of Social Work, including Honours) With eligibility for registration or membership with a relevant professional body, such as
AHPRA (where applicable) Australian Psychological Society (APS) Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Diploma of leadership or other relevant qualifications that demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and professional development
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or coordination role, with the ability to support day-to-day operations, guide practice and contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-quality service environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with families, community organisations, service providers and internal stakeholders to strengthen service integration and access to support.
Demonstrated capacity to engage children, families and carers in a respectful, culturally responsive and strengths-based manner, with a commitment to inclusion and family-centred practice.
Knowledge of child development, early intervention, inclusion and the factors that influence child, family and community wellbeing.
High level knowledge of trauma informed practice frameworks and ability to teach and mentor others
Understanding of the regulatory, quality and practice frameworks relevant to early childhood education and care and family support services, and the ability to contribute to compliance and continuous improvement processes.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and with a broad range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate documentation and support effective service planning and implementation.
Commitment to the values of collaboration, inclusion, respect and continuous improvement, and the ability to contribute positively to organisational culture and community outcomes.

All employees are required to comply with CRCS child safe policies, mandatory reporting requirements and relevant screening processes, including Working with Vulnerable People checks and Working with Children Check.

Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
