Amazing Kids Parties, Australia's premier kids' entertainment provider, is looking for vibrant individuals to join our team as Character Performers. Whether you're stepping into royal shoes as a beloved princess or suiting up as a superhero, you'll be part of creating unforgettable experiences for children and families.
At Amazing Kids Parties, we specialise in creating extraordinary experiences for kids and families across the metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs of Gold Coast & Brisbane (Metro). Our team of passionate entertainers delivers top-notch character performances at events ranging from birthday parties to corporate functions. What you'll actually be doing
This is an exciting job to learn and an incredibly rewarding one to be good at: suit up, stay in character, and leave a trail of delighted kids behind you.
- Bring princess and superhero characters to life through storytelling, games, and performance.

Lead interactive activities, crafts, and themed games that keep kids engaged from start to finish.

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to make sure the party matches exactly what they pictured.

Set up and pack down event areas before and after each performance.

Keep the energy friendly, positive, and festive from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
You don't need experience – you need personality and a bit of initiative!
We provide comprehensive training to teach you our character formats and performance techniques. What we can't teach is natural charisma and a genuine love of making kids smile, so that's what we're after.
That might look like:
- You're a uni student, actor, or performer looking for premium contract work that fits around your timetable or auditions.

You're a natural entertainer who is always the "life of the party" and loves stepping into a role or hosting crowds.

You've worked in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles and pride yourself on your stellar people skills.

You've worked in childcare and know exactly how to hold a room full of six-year-olds.

You have a knack for face painting or balloon twisting (a magical bonus!).

You want a fun, creative side hustle that fits around your weekends.
What we're looking for
- Enthusiasm, warmth, and energy—essential for bringing a character to life and winning over a room of kids (and their parents).

A reliable car and current driver's licence to transport yourself, your costume, and equipment to events (or genuine willingness to travel)

A valid Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
