We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure all items are properly cleaned and stored
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling correctly
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
- Restock ingredients and supplies as required
- Support chefs during busy service periods
- Ensure general organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
