About the role
The candidate must have at least one year of experience in a retail supervisory role, with
demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage daily store operations, and maintain high
standards of customer service. The successful applicant will be organised, proactive,
and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), offering an opportunity to contribute to a
dynamic retail environment and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day
operations.
Key responsibilities
· Planning and preparing staff rosters, and assigning duties to ensure efficient store operations
· Monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and coordinating the ordering of new stock
· Ensuring all goods and services are accurately priced, labelled, and displayed in accordance with company standards
· Ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous service and high-quality goods and services
· Responding to customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner
· Providing guidance and training to staff on handling complex or high-value sales transactions
· Assisting with recruitment, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, and staff development, as well as addressing workplace concerns
· Assessing returned goods and determining appropriate resolutions in line with store policies.
Skills and Experience
· AQF Certificate II or III in Retail, Business, or a related field OR at least one year of relevant work experience may substitute for formal qualifications
· Must have at least one year of relevant work experience for the past 5 years
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
