Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles and equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring and electronic systems
- Work on lighting, battery systems, starters, alternators, and control units
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Install accessories (GPS, cameras, alarms, inverters, etc.)
- Conduct testing and quality checks after repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and job reports
- Follow safety and compliance procedures at all times
Requirements
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
- Relevant certificates and licenses
- Proven experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork attitude
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to pass medical and police check (if required)
Preferred (Not Essential)
- Experience with heavy vehicles, machinery, or fleet maintenance
- Air-conditioning ticket (ARCtick)
- HR licence
- Experience with CAN bus systems
