Our Social Strategy Team is seeking a project officer with strong organisational, communications, engagement and project skills to support planning and delivery of community sector activities and events on a Part Time (18 hours per week) Fixed Term basis until June 2027.

We work with communities, organisations and government to build inclusive communities where everyone is valued and Our Social Strategy Team is seeking a project officer with strong organisational, communications, engagement and project skills to support planning and delivery of community sector activities and events on a Part Time (18 hours per week) Fixed Term basis until June 2027.
You will be working across the Northern Rivers – Bundjalung, Yaegl and Gumbaynggirr Country – from Tweed to Clarence Valley to help make a positive social change, together. The position may increase to 26 hours per week (subject to additional funding).

What you'll be doing
- Working alongside Community and Family Support Program, community aged care services and other Aboriginal community organisations and groups – to strengthening practice, collaboration, relationships and referral pathways, contribute to human services planning and strengthen the capacity of the sector.
- Supporting planning and delivery of community sector activities, communications including electronic news updates, and reporting.
What we're looking for
- Strong organisation, administration and project skills to support planning and delivery of sector activities
- Understanding of trends and issues in service innovation and reform in the human services sector
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with evidence of ability to build networks, relationships and partnerships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
