At Schneider Electric, our Digital Buildings business is transforming the way customers manage their buildings and optimise energy performance. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Service Engineer to join our Perth Services team.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor across a diverse portfolio of customers spanning commercial offices, healthcare, education, infrastructure, data centres, defence and critical environments. This is a highly visible customer-facing role where you'll use your technical expertise to deliver exceptional service outcomes while helping customers improve reliability, efficiency and sustainability.

What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same. As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and optimisation of building management systems across some of Schneider Electric's premier customer sites throughout Perth.
Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS).

Diagnosing faults and delivering effective technical solutions.

Programming, commissioning and modifying BMS control strategies.

Developing and deploying logic engineering and maintaining accurate documentation.

Identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and energy efficiency.

Building trusted relationships with customers and acting as their technical advisor.

Delivering work safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.

Participating in a rotating on-call roster (allowances and overtime apply).
About You
We're looking for a technically capable and customer-focused professional who enjoys solving complex problems and making a genuine impact for clients.
You will ideally bring:

Experience working with Building Management Systems, HVAC controls, automation, instrumentation or industrial controls.

Qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Controls, Instrumentation or a related discipline.

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.

Experience with commissioning, programming or service delivery within building automation environments.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

A strong commitment to safety and delivering high-quality outcomes.
