About the role:
Working amidst the team and directly with local and international clients, the role has a broad remit including, but not limited to:
Preparation of the month-end close process working closely with seniors and management
Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally, ideally have experience with Xero
Client-facing, as the day-to-day contact with clients in relation to:
Oversight of accounts payable and processing of supplier payment runs
Preparation of accounts receivable invoices
Preparation of payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations
Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements
Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff
About you:
Have completed bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
Have completed or are looking to complete CA, CPA or Equivalent Qualified
Experience in management accounting
Ideally have experience with professional services in accounting and tax/outsourcing, ideally from a local top or mid-tier firm
Experience with Xero, NetSuite or other cloud accounting software's would be beneficial
Knowledge & experience with tax compliance requirements for GST, WHT and ongoing tax office lodgements
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organisation & time management skills
Excellent relationship management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Strong numerical and IT skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn
