About the role
A career as an AO3 Administration Officer at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital provides professional, efficient and confidential administrative support across a diverse range of clinical and non-clinical services. Opportunities are available across a variety of areas including Allied Health, Cancer Care Services, Medical Imaging, Medical Records, Ward Administration, Switchboard Services, Women's and Newborn Services, and Critical Care and Clinical Support Services.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-focused services through a broad range of administrative functions including reception, scheduling, admissions, medical records, referral management and call centre support. The role requires strong communication skills, adaptability and a commitment to supporting patients, families and multidisciplinary teams in a busy healthcare environment.
About you

Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors and healthcare staff.
Perform a range of administrative duties including reception, scheduling, admissions, medical records, referral management and call centre or switchboard services.
Prepare and manage correspondence, documentation and information systems while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and data integrity.
Prioritise workloads, exercise sound judgement and adapt to changing service demands while working both independently and as part of a team.
Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and patient-focused workplace culture.
