Monadelphous is currently seeking an experienced Materials Controller to join our Engineering Construction team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major Power Plant project in Queensland.
As a Materials Controller, you will be responsible for managing material control systems, processes and reporting to ensure the efficient flow of materials across the project. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating inspections and preserving critical project materials.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Manage material control systems, processes and reporting.
-
Coordinate material receipting, storage, allocation and issuance.
-
Manage Over, Short and Damaged (OS&D) materials processes.
-
Coordinate material inspections and quality requirements.
-
Oversee material preservation activities.
-
Ensure materials are accurately tracked and available to meet project requirements.

Coordinate the movement of materials, parts and components across the project.
-
Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
-
Prepare reports, procedures and audit documentation.
-
Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures, customer requirements and ISO standards.
What you will bring:

Experience in materials control, inventory management or logistics within construction, engineering or resources projects.

Strong understanding of material lifecycle management, including receipting, storage and issuance.

Experience using materials management databases and systems.
-
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.

Knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
-
Understanding of document control processes and quality management requirements.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
-

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and continuous improvement.
