Quality Data Analyst

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Data Analyst to join our Customer & Quality Assurance Team within Seniors Services.
In this role, you will transform complex clinical and operational data into meaningful insights that support decision-making, quality improvement and service excellence across our aged care operations. Working closely with operational leaders, governance teams and frontline services, you will play a critical role in strengthening reporting, improving data quality and supporting evidence-based outcomes for the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities
As the Quality Data Analyst, you will:
- Develop innovative solutions to improve data quality, accuracy, and relevance, ensuring that insights and recommendations are actionable and aligned with organisational goals to improve outcomes. Apply proactive critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimise the reporting, insights and associated processes.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand the patterns, relationships, and trends for Senior Services clinical and service data to form part of effective governance and reporting processes.
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders as part of governance and reporting processes.
- Analyse, monitor, and report on the Seniors Services clinical care and services data and analytics as part of support effective governance and reporting processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis in relation to clinical care and services to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Operational Support, IT and Governance Risk and Quality teams to develop and deliver accurate and timely reporting as part of effective governance processes.
- Engage with local service teams and provide advice, coaching and education to develop frontline capability in data analysis and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Seniors Services operations team to provide high quality and safe services.
- Contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the Seniors Services directorate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the Customer Quality Assurance team and across the Seniors Services directorate as required.
About You
You are a data-driven professional with strong analytical capabilities and a genuine desire to improve outcomes through meaningful insights.
You bring:
- A Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a data analysis, reporting or business intelligence role.
- Experience developing, analysing and interpreting large data sets and reports.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience working with client management systems and data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation.
- A passion for social impact and improving outcomes for vulnerable communities.
Desirable
- Experience within the Aged Care sector.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of aged care clinical systems, quality frameworks and reporting requirements.
- Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools.
