WCP Services Pty Ltd – WestCoast Profilers is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to support our road profiling, milling and civil construction operations across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
Key Duties
- Safely operate heavy vehicles between project sites, depots, quarries and disposal/recycling facilities.
- Transport milled asphalt, road-building materials, equipment and other loads.
- Load, secure, check and unload materials and equipment safely.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections and identify or report faults.
- Ensure loads are correctly distributed, restrained and within legal weight limits.
- Complete logbooks, delivery dockets, pre-starts and other required transport documentation.
- Comply with road transport, fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility, WHS and site safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, spotters and site personnel.
- Assist with loading, unloading and related site duties when required.
- Work safely around traffic, workers and mobile plant and follow SWMS, traffic management and HSEQ procedures.
- Be available for early starts, night work, overtime and regional work where required.
Essential Qualifications
- Current HR Licence required, HC Heavy Vehicle Licence is desirable and will be looked upon favourably
- Construction White Card.
- Load Restraint Training.
- Fatigue Management Training.
- Current First Aid certification.
Skills & Experience
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience with a proven safe driving record.
- Experience with tip trucks, truck-and-dog combinations, tippers or similar heavy vehicles is highly regarded.
- Civil construction, roadworks, asphalt, profiling or earthworks experience is desirable.
- Experience transporting machinery, asphalt, gravel, soil or similar construction materials.
- Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle road rules, load limits, fatigue management and safe load restraint.
- Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and recognise mechanical or safety issues.
- Strong safety awareness, communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Physically capable of assisting with loading, unloading and site duties when required.
- Flexible and able to work across changing locations, shifts and site conditions.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
