In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering Transport for NSW's bridge asset management, maintenance and resilience programs across the state, ensuring bridges, vehicular ferries, tunnels and other critical structural assets remain safe, operational and fit for purpose.
This role will see you support the development and delivery of unique and complex bridge projects, prepare scopes of work, manage contracts and systems, implement lifecycle strategies, provide specialist engineering advice, and contribute to the maintenance, rehabilitation and long-term stewardship of NSW's bridge infrastructure.
You'll gain exposure to strategic project development, asset management, stakeholder engagement and complex infrastructure delivery across a diverse portfolio of structural assets.
You will lead innovative bridge asset management solutions and project outcomes in a challenging environment balancing ageing infrastructure, technical complexity, safety requirements, environmental and heritage considerations, community expectations and operational delivery priorities.

Role will service the NSW Southern Regions, Office base Wollongong.
About you
Your technical engineering expertise, project management capability and stakeholder engagement skills formed across bridge engineering, civil infrastructure, structural design, construction, asset management, maintenance or transport infrastructure environments will see you excel in delivering bridge rehabilitation and maintenance programs, managing complex projects and contracts, providing specialist technical advice and overcoming the challenges associated with ageing and complex assets to achieve safe, sustainable and cost-effective infrastructure outcomes.
You're recognised as a collaborative and solutions-focused engineering professional, skilled at analysing complex technical information, managing multiple projects, building stakeholder relationships and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences, experienced in bridge design, construction, inspection and/or maintenance, contract management, budgeting, scheduling and asset lifecycle planning, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes across a complex infrastructure environment.
