We're looking for a Junior Kitchen Hand to join our growing team at Suzy's; a brand-new venue located in the heart of Hillarys Boat Harbour.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in hospitality and become part of a supportive, fast-paced kitchen environment. Suzy's is a brand-new venue that has generated significant interest across social media, creating a huge amount of excitement ahead of our full launch. As a result, we are already experiencing very busy services, so we are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep up with the demands of a bustling kitchen.
The role will primarily involve:
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Assisting the chefs during busy service periods
- Keeping workstations clean and organised
- Restocking and putting away deliveries
- Supporting the kitchen team with general duties
What we're looking for:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
Current availability:
- Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
Future opportunities:
As Suzy's transitions to full-time trading, there will be opportunities for additional hours, including evening shifts.
