Chef de Partie
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
You will need to:
· Hold a commercial kitchen qualification, or equivalent.
· Have the appropriate training and understanding of health and safety practices.
· Have exceptional level of hygiene and take pride in your appearance.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Have excellent communication skills.
· Be able to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
· Be team orientated.
· Have a passion for food and the hospitality industry, with a genuine interest in producing high standard cuisine.
· Be able to take direction and follow instructions.
· Be able to portion food.
· Be pro-active and ensure your section is properly prepared and ready for service.
· Be confident to work in different sections of the kitchen, including cold and hot larder, grill and pizza sections.
· Consistent with presentation and quality of food.
· Examine food product to ensure quality and to meet our high standards.
· Understand how to store food in a temperature-controlled environment, following kitchen health regulations.
· Be able to store food correctly in the dry food store.
· Ensure food stock is correctly labelled and rotated.
· Have a positive and can-do attitude.
Salary range based on experience - $76,515 to $81,500.
For the right person, we are offering an attractive salary, plus the superannuation guarantee.
