In this role, you'll:
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Project Quality Representative to join the Traffic Facilities South- Signs and Line marking team based in Russell Vale.
In this role, you'll:
- You will perform routine and complex manual work activities using hand tools, power tools, and small plant equipment to support maintenance and operational tasks safely and efficiently.
- You will ensure work is completed to quality standards by following established procedures, conducting inspections and measurements, comparing outcomes against plans and specifications, and maintaining accurate records.
- You will identify and resolve routine work issues, apply standard procedures, and collaborate with supervisors and managers to address complex problems and achieve work objectives.
- You will use a range of digital systems and applications, such as Asset Vision, Mitti, Objective, Microsoft Excel to manage and record project documentation, inspections and forms, track actions and records, and support quality, environmental and safety compliance requirements.You will support and guide team members, coordinate work activities when required, and contribute to a productive, capable, and high-performing team environment.
- You will comply with WHS, environmental, and operational requirements by managing risks, following safety procedures, reporting hazards, minimizing environmental impacts, and ensuring proper waste and record management practice
- Work a 9-Day Fortnight.
- In addition to the above, there may be requirements to work outside of normal working hours and away from home.

About you
We are looking for someone who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees.
- You have demonstrated experience in civil construction, including road maintenance and construction activities or equivalent industry work.
- You are confident using technology such as computer and iPads and can quickly learn new systems and processes. You have strong literacy and numeracy skills and can accurately interpret information, maintain records and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- You have a strong attention to detail and can accurately review project records to ensure compliance with specification, standards and procedures.
- You are a team player and able to build effective working relationships with supervisors, staff, engineers and contractors.
- You hold a current Construction Industry White Card and understand safe work practices in a construction environment.
- You possess a current Australian Class C driver's licence (minimum P1) and can travel to and operate across work sites as required.
- You demonstrate a willingness to obtain and maintain relevant licences, tickets, and certifications to meet operational and compliance requirements.
We are seeking those that reside within a 70 km travelling distance from the Russel vale Depot as you will be on call when required.
